The decision has been made, you have purchased some fantastic spots, ceiling lamps and, as icing on the cake, a beautiful hanging lamp for above the table. Conscious as you are, all these luminaires are of course energy efficient and equipped with an LED light source. Proud of the result, you also want to be able to dim the luminaires for the finishing touch. Your challenge starts here, which dimmer is suitable for which type of LED light source? Lucide lighting comes with the solution, we developed a universal LED dimmer that functions on our Lucide fixtures and light sources, but also with 90% of the LED light sources of other brands offered on the market. Each type of LED light source 12V or 230V requires a separate control, the Lucide LED dimmer is equipped with a switching mechanism, which gives you the choice to set the dimmer to both Phase cut (RL 5-150W) and Phase cut (RC 5-300W) regulated LED light sources. You can then easily set the minimum and maximum dimming range with the built-in trim screw. In addition, the Lucide LED dimmer is standard equipped with a sleek and stylish cover frame in the color white (RAL 9010). If you want to use a cover frame of your choice, this is possible for the most well-known brands in the market. Including Berker - Busch-Jaeger - Gira - Jung - Merten by Schneider - Niko and Peha. (An adaptation is required for Busch-Jaeger and Niko, which is included with the dimmer) Tip from Lucide : First make a test setup. Flickering or buzzing of the lamps, transformer and/or dimmer indicates a wrong match. Test this without screwing the dimmer into the wall. Always be aware of the minimum and maximum load of the dimmer (see max Wattage RC/RL). Take a good look at your wall socket, the Lucide LED is only suitable for regular flush-mounted boxes with screw holes. No loose built-in terminals are included, so the dimmer is not suitable for flush-mounted boxes without screw holes.
